Make Ready works with the service and sales departments moving vehicles around the dealership lot, readying vehicles for sale and display; as well as retrieving vehicles for various departments as needed.

Make Ready Personnel duties include:

Preparing vehicles to be sold by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, making key tags and other items as needed.
Moving vehicles to sales and service departments as needed.
Keeping the sales, service drop-off area, and other areas clean and free of debris.
Readying newly arrived vehicles for the sales departments.
Operating vehicle car wash
Fueling vehicles.
Other duties as assigned by management

A driver’s license as well as a clean driving record is necessary for this position. Make Ready Personnel should be able to operate a standard shift and must be neat and courteous to customers and other employees.

People working within the automotive retail industry often have to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.
